Barista | Icons & Pictograms Poster
In this 11x14" poster, I aimed to create a set of five cohesive and consistent icons and pictograms representing the barista profession.
Icons play a crucial role in applications and websites, serving as efficient visual communication tools. My objective in this project was to design a series of identifiable and uniform icons based on my chosen profession.
approach to creating a distinctive set of icons
The set of five icons illustrates the step-by-step journey of coffee production, starting from the harvest of coffee beans to the final service in cafes and stores. designed with simplicity, these icons used geometric shapes and rounded lines, reflecting the modern and minimalist vibe presented in today's cafes and related establishments. Classic elements like burlap texture and stencil arts are also incorporated into each icons, which are commonly associated with the traditional coffee bean bags.
